Change Notification Settings

To change your notification settings, including how often Communicator checks for new messages and the action to take, open the Communicator main window either by clicking the Main Menu icon on the quick launch bar or right clicking on the icon in your system tray and selecting Show Main Menu.

Once the Communicator window is displayed, select Options, then Settings

Select the notifications tab, then set the following as desired:

- Select which type of messages to be notified of: Fax, SMS or both. (A.)

- Select how Communicator notifies you of the above new messages: A popup message and / or play a sound (B.)

- Choose how often Communicator checks for new messages on the server: Slide right to check more often, left to check less frequently (C.)

Finally, save your settings by clicking OK.
