PBX is a just a fancy acronym. The letters in PBX stand for Private-Branch-Exchange
In a nutshell a PBX allows all incoming phone calls to your company to be transferred to other people within the company. It also allows everyone within the company to share an unlimited number of phone lines.
Because our PBX is hosted online (in the "cloud") we have a vast array of features which are constantly being updated.
Options Include but are not limited to:
- Voice menus (press 1 for sales, 2 for accounts etc)
- Music or advertising whilst on hold
- Call Transfer
- Caller Queue- Conferencing
- Voice mail to email
