SMTP Setting for POP accounts

Email Settings

For email accounts that you setup, you should use the following connection details in your email program:

Incoming Mail Server:

Select either POP (email saved on your computer) or IMAP (saved on the server)

POP Host Address: pop.quick.net.au
IMAP Host Address: imap.quick.net.au

Username: This is your email address and will match exactly what you created in the hosting control panel.
Password: This is the password you entered when setting up your email address in the control panel.

Note: Be sure you enable encryption (SSL or TLS) on the connection to prevent others from discovering your email password.  When you select this option the incoming mail server will use port 995 or 993 depending on which protocol you selected.  Pop/pop3 is port 995 and Imap is 993.

Outgoing Mail Server:

Host address: smtp.quick.net.au

Username: This is your email address and will match exactly what you created in the hosting control panel.
Password: This is the password you entered when setting up your email address in the control panel.

Encryption: On (you must enable SSL encryption)

Port: 465

Notes:  You must authenticate with our email servers to Both send and receive.  In each case this is your email username, typically your email address, and password that you have configured on the server.
