ReadyNAS - File name filtering

You can filter which files are backed up on your ReadyNAS based on file name or file type.

To do so, log in to the cloud backup for ReadyNAS GUI and  select the settings tab.  Next, click the "File type filtering" button.

Filters are comma-separated and can include a wildcard at any point in the string.

For example:
2010*.zip - Exclude all ZIP files starting in "2010"
*.iso - Exclude all ISO image files
archive* - Exclude all files starting in the word "archive"

The default filter covers music and video files. If you would like to include these types simply clear the box on the filter settings page and click save.
