If you would like to upload a custom sound file to your PBX, for example a voicemail message, or new music on hold, first log into the PBX management web interface.You can access this by logging in to VoIP Commander, navigating to the PBX tab, then clicking 'Manage' next to the target PBX.
Once logged in, follow the steps below.

** PLEASE NOTE - All filenames must be in lower case **
Music on Hold
To upload a custom music on hold file, navigate to System > Music on Hold. Enter a name for the clip you are uploading, then click to "Choose File" to open the file browser. Once you have selected the sound file, taking note of the file formats below, click ok. Change the Class to 'default', and set the status to 'on'. Click edit next to 'Default Sound' and change the status to off.
NB: Your PBX may prompt you for a restart once you have uploaded the file. This will interrupt any current calls. If you are on our PBX as a Service, SOHO, Standard or Unlimited editions, your change will take effect automatically overnight.
Recommended File Formats
The recommended format is WAV 8000Hz, 16 bits, Mono. For ease of identification, please call the file moh-<trackname>.wav
Queue Voicemail Greetings
To upload a custom voicemail greeting for a queue, nagivate to Voicemail > mailboxes, then click edit next to the target voicemail.
Next to ''Unavailable Message", click 'choose file', navigate to the file and click ok. Click Save to have the file uploaded.
Recommended File Format
The recommended format is wav, Mono, 8000hz, however GSM is also supported. For ease of identification, please call the file unavail-<trackname>.wav
IVR Greetings
To upload a custom greeting for an IVR, navigate to System > Sound Files. Select the format you are uploading, the click "Choose File" to open the file browser. Please ensure the file name is "greeting-%FILENAME%" where %filename% is the clip name. Once you've selected the file, click upload. Once successful, your file should now be selectable from the greeting drop down in your IVR configuration screen.
Queue Greetings
To upload a custom greeting for a queue, navigate to System > Sound Files. Select the format you are uploading, the click "Choose File" to open the file browser. Please ensure the file name is "queue-greeting-%FILENAME%" where %filename% is the clip name. Once you've selected the file, click upload. Once successful, your file should now be selectable from the greeting drop down in your queue configuration screen.
Queue Announcements
To upload a custom periodic announcement, navigate to System > Sound Files. Select the format you are uploading, the click "Choose File" to open the file browser. Please ensure the file name is "periodic-announce-%FILENAME%" where %filename% is the clip name. Once you've selected the file, click upload. Once successful, your file should now be selectable from the periodic announce drop down on the queue screen.
