Greetings for Queues
Most phone systems have a Greeting which can be a simple recording that allows the caller to be greeted by a message before transferred to an operator.
Example: Hello and thank you for calling 'your business name', someone will answer your call shortly.
Greetings for IVR's
Some phone systems have a Greeting which goes to an IVR that allows the caller to be greeted by a message and press numbers on the keypad to choose where in the business they would like the call directed before transferred to an operator.
Example: Hello and thank you for calling 'your business name', Please Press 1 for Sales, 2 for Accounts, 3 for Support.
Voicemail - In Business Hours
Most phone systems have an in business hours voicemail which can be a simple recording that allows the caller to be greeted by a message before transferred to the designated voicemail during the applied operation times of the business.
Example: Sorry, our team are currently unable to attend to your call. If you could please leave your name, a return number and a detailed message when prompted and a member of our team will return your call as soon as possible.
Voicemail - Out of Business Hours
Most phone systems have an out of business hours voicemail which can be a simple recording that allows the caller to be greeted by a message before transferred to the designated voicemail outside the applied operation times of the business.
Example: Sorry but you have called outside of business hours, please leave your name, a return number and a detailed message when prompted and a member of our team will contact you on our next business day.
